PRACTICALLY PERFECT MANPOWER
Me-An Laceste, the proprietor of Me-An Poppins’ Practically Perfect Manpower, came to Canada in 1990 as a live-in caregiver. After her successful permanent residence application in 1993, she opened “Me-An’s House Cleaning Service” where it flourished into a successful business. To pursue her long time dream, she went to Capilano University (then, Capilano College) and studied Psychology. Her love and passion for taking care of people led to the conception of another business called Me-An Poppins’ Practically Perfect Caregivers/ Nannies which was also a success. In 2015, said business was closed as she shifted her focus on her role as an insurance and investment broker.
Having always been a poet at heart, Me-An published her first book entitled: "Feeling Blue? JUMP!" in 2019. It was then followed by 2 other books called "Feeling Pink? LOVE! and Feeling Red? BLUSH!”. When the pandemic struck the world by surprise in 2020, she penned a Haiku collection about living through Covid-19 with her fourth book, "Feeling Isolated? EXPLORE!”
Me-An Poppins’ Practically Perfect Manpower, a duly licensed employment agency was established in 2021. The company prides itself in helping employers meet their staffing needs as well as helping employment seekers find the right employers. Our extensive screening program will guarantee placement of the right candidates for our clients. We recruit locally and internationally. Thus, we take the time to source highly exceptional workers who are experienced in their respective fields.
